I'm always hesitant to start an internet challenge. I love making new work, giving myself mini assignments and joining an online community for support, but sometimes I just can't keep up. This is the first year that I'm attempting the 100 Day Project. The gist of it is that you choose a theme or task, and do this thing for 100 days, then post something from each day online with the #the100dayproject hashtag. One areas I always feel a little lacking in is lettering. So, my goal for the next 93 days (I'm already a week in - yay!) is to do a bit of hand lettering each day. So far, I've been motivated to do some finished pieces on my ipad, but I'm sure there will be a few days of simple pencil sketches. And heck, I may even bail after 30 days. But so far, I've got a few extra items for my portfolio that I didn't have a week ago and I'm having a great time.
